Ok... The wheel problems are over now, and the 20's are on. And now my brakes aren't nearly as responsive.

I'm asking the people that know more than me about this one.

Do I:

A: upgrade the rotors and pads?

B: Convert to a double piston caliper like the corvette upgrade?

I've read several posts on this, and it seems like most people think just rotors and pads help out the most. I want to be able to put my stock rims on in the winter, so if the caliper conversion won't allow 16"s I would like to know. I never could get a clear answer on that one from reading the posts.

Suggestions on what parts to use and where to get them is really appreciated.

thats the sucky part of going with big wheels like that. I'd definately suggest somt type of Big brake kit like from Baer or similar manufacturer. Not only will your braking performance be a LOT better, bigger than stock rotors and calipers behind those big (for the car) 20's will look a million time better. From what I've seen most Big Brake kits need at least a 17" wheel to clear.

with minimum grinding on the edges of the calipers if you do the camaro (not sure about the actualy corvette calipers, but they are almost *almost* identical.... they will fit the stock chromtechs (pictures to back me up) its basikly a straight bolt on with the exception of the minimal grinding down the top outter edge of the caliper (i just ground it down to make a 45*

spacers might help as well, to get that extra little bit of clearance
