What are good spark plug wires?? I've seen the ones on PFYC, the super conductor ones....i see the MSD ones, they seem good, but I'd like other people's experience/opinions. and maybe the brand of spark plugs? just old Advance Auto plugs?

I've got MSD 8.5 wires coming from pfyc this week and I picked up a set of AC Delco Platinum Professional series plugs this past weekend. I'll let you know how I like them.

You bet, I should have them on towards the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

A buddy helped me this evening and we got the plugs and wires in! It took us about an hour, we went for a spin afterwards and it felt a bit more responsive. If nothing else the new wires look really cool.

I have red taylors, only bought them becuase i needed some more color under the hood :D

If your just replaceing plugs and wires for a basic tune up and dont care what they look like and just want them to perform id suggest going all ACdelco (OEM) for the plugs and wires.

In that case i recomend taylor wires becuase of the wide array of colors to choose from and the price is very reasonable. Taylors get a bad rap from some people but im going on 4 years without a single problem.

As far as plugs i highly highly recomend sticking with acdelco (OEM).

IMO they arent hard at all, not even the back ones. People make it a bigger deal than it is. Just have some ratchet extensions of various sizes and see with your hands, totaly easy.

... as far as the plugs go, stick the the OEM version or the Irridiums as many people have used them and they work well :D

I used the AC Delco or equivalent Delphi wires. For the spark plugs, I use the AC Delco oem Iridiums, which are also NGK parts.

Ive got the MSDs and they are dang good. The only problem is that the stock wire holders are hard to close because of the size.

Anybody happen to find any +8.5mm wires in black? All I ever see is blue or red. I just want a sleek black with no flash.
What size are the AC's ?

I got OEM wires again but instead rather used that wire plastic tubing around it to give it it's red instead. A lot cheaper for me. :P
