Make sure the engine is cold before doing this. If you do this after driving for a bit, you'll risk cracking the head/block.

If You dont want Something wet Just Cover It Up With a Plastic Bag

First You need Five Things....

A Car

Ok First You Take the Simple Green And Spray it all over the Engine Leaving no Crevis Behind!

Once the Engine is Simpled....

Let it sit for about 10 mins.....

While Waiting Grab your Fav Beverage

Ok After 10 Mins Grab your water now here is the fun!

Now Wash the engine Covering it in water

Now use that Towel To Make sure Every inch is Wiped down and Clean!

You can Always Cover Up What U don't want wet!

But Most Engines Are Designed To get wet...

You can spray your engine down, it won't really hurt it. You have to figure that water in heavy rain gets into the engine bay area pretty easily. As long as you aren't spraying water onto a WAI or something, you should be ok.

Looks safe enough so long as you don't use a pressure washer in there.

Yea, I dunno I have my alarm, some lighting wires... just so much I don't wanna ruin tryin to pretty it up.. It's kinda scary :nervous:

Just Use some Walmart Bags and Some Twisty Ties and Just Cover Them Up!

The alt too(cover I mean).. or do you just avoid it? Did you just dump the water on the block? or did you pour it everywhere didn't worry about hoses are stuff?

I was Careful around the Alternator But Mainly I just Poured IT All over the engine...

But MY engine Was Cold!

I might try this saturday morning.. I could just use a hose instead, without a sprayer and just it it run over it to right?

Umm I would recommend Doing it softly Just don't pressure Wash it!
