NEW PFYC.com Sway Bar Group Buy

over at GAGT.com we are starting a group buy to get some sway bars from pfyc.com since they dont carry them anymore (at least more than one)

I would need at least 15 people to make a deposit of at least $75 per person per bar (i.e. $150 if the person wants both front and rear) in order to get the order going. If we didn't reach 15 people for each bar, the order can't happen and we'd refund the $75 deposit. Once the order is placed with the manufacturer, it can take up to 2 months to get the bars to each person who orders

We will set up a special payment page so that everyone can pay at once - at a pre-determined time we can post on the forum once you get closer to 15.

It's $75 per bar - so if you want both front and rear it's $150 pre-paid. Shipping is expensive, probably $40-60 for two bars and around $30-40 for one. The bars are priced at $139.99 each.

no, the wording can be confusing, sorry about that. 75 per bar is the DEPOSIT just to get it going. after all that money is recieved wed have to pay for the rest.

If I'm reading this right the whole reason for this group buy is because they don't carry the bars anymore. So I'm assuming they are doing this one time sale and then there gone.

I've ordered from them before, for a few different things... The 180 degree thermostat, Gatorback belt, and I forget what else. They were really fast with shipping and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...

Just chiming in here...these sway bars are WELL worth the money I had just a rear on my old GA and it made a world of difference my suggestion though get some new bushings with grease fittings unless you feels like taking these off every 6-12 months to regrease them.

I got mine Monday. Man they are beefy. I see the weather is suppose to be near 60 over the weekend so they are going on then. To Peyman, I have an extra set of brackets to mod but you can do this after you take off the brackets. Drill and tap a hole to accept a grease fitting. Then drill thru the bushing to give you a path for the grease to get to the bar. If you wait I'll let you and all know how it went. I can hardly wait :LOL:

I just wanted to let others know what I found out. I was using the Haynes manual to reference the sway bar removal. It instructs you to lower the subframe about 3 inches to access the front bar. I did just that but found out you NEED to remove the steering knuckle pinch bolt. It is located above the steering rack and is under the rubber boot. Please do that as you will pull the coupler apart and you will spend an alot more time trouble shooting and repairing things. Just an FYI.

BTW, I got the front installed and it is amazing. No more body roll and very good steering responce. I am putting the rear on on Wednesday and can only imagine it will be even better. Good luck to all who put this bar on, it's kinda a PITA but well worth the bother.

huge advantage the stock ones feel like a coat hanger compared to these :lol:

Did you grease the bushings before you put them on? You need the greaseable bushings or you'll be tearing those things off every few months, I know I had to do it when I had my GA :lol: I also highly recommend mobil 1 synthetic grease
