Transmission shifting hard

Hi,
I have grandam 2005 v6 3.4L automatic and recently I noticed I could feel the transmission shifting from (2 to 3 or 3 to 4) - the car
would kind of jerk a bit (sorry I am not a car expert :). I also
noticed this would happen more noticably with the AC on, but
really, AC on or off would affect the engine? Any pointers
on how should I diagnose it further? (Ofcourse everything
is still under warranty so I can take it to the dealer)

Do you recall what RPMs you are at? It should shift pretty firm at WOT...but just daily driving, my car shifts very smoothly. You can check the tranny fluid. See if its overfilled.

Try checking your motor mounts make sure they are not cracked or broken, that is my first thought.

I couldn't spot the transmission fluid container at the top- isn't
it at some inaccessible location for grandams?

there isnt one. thers a cap just to the left of the airbox WAYYY down there...good luck reaching it!
