I plan to buy these today or tomorrow does anyone see a reason why I shouldn't buy them.
Not that I care but do you think the rims will look good on a 98 GT Coupe.
Has anyone used tire racks balancing service? Is it good, bad, horrible?

Because they are so much money

I personally think that you have a good choice going.
The rims look good, if not just a tad on the plain side, and the tire selection is really good.
I myself will be going with 16 inch OZ SuperTurismo GT's, and hopefully a set of 215/50-16 Goodyear TripleTred's, if they come in that size.
Oh, and if you want to to go with wider tires, 215/50-16's will have the same rolling diameter as your 15's, if that's what you have right now.
My only suggestion would be to get a set of winter tires if you live in snow belt territory, instead of relying on the Bridgestones to carry you all year round.

IMO going with 16s would be a waste. Save your money and go bigger.

Chris, Potenzas are fine for snow. I have the exact same tires and I got stuck once in the winter, on a steep hill after a snowstorm.

I think thats a good combo there. The rims look nice and from what eveyone else says the bridgestone tires are good in the snow. I have Goodyear Assurance triple treads on mine, but they are kinda spendy.
As for staying with stock size over bigger... thats all up to you man. My preference is stock size. The way the roads break up here from pot holes and frost boils you never know when your gona come up on a hole in the concrete. I've seen alot of bent or broken rims from hitting holes with bigger rims and lower profile tires. Don't get me wrong ... i love the look of bigger rims but untill i can afford two sets of rims and tires to switch out for summer and winter i'll stick with the stock size.

I'd keep the stock wheels over those wheels. 17's aren't that much more... I've seen many common designs go for $120-125 each.
Those tires would be fine, but are on the pricey side. If you're looking for ultra-high-performance all-seasons, I'd recommend Falken Ziex ZE912.

As for the size.....16's would look small IMO. 17's would look better and be a good upgrade in handling without getting heavy and problems with bending a rim. You can still get a beefy tire to help protect them.
I say save up for a 17inch combo

well it needs tires to pass inspection, so its get tires now and be driving by sept or save and wait till october or november. I can get a second job because of the mobility so it will pay off if I want bigger rims.
