Pep Boys is pleased to announce that we will be the title sponsor for Atlanta Motor Speedway’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race on Sunday, October 28.
NASCAR’s top stars will compete in this 500-mile race – which will officially be known as the Pep Boys Auto 500 – as the headline event for the October 26-28 race weekend.
As the title sponsor, our Company logo will appear in the official race logo and, on race day, signage with this logo, Manny, Moe & Jack and our corporate colors will decorate the 1.54-mile quad-oval track and the surrounding areas of the Speedway. Advertising and marketing support and other promotions are also planned.
In a press release announcing the sponsorship, President and CEO Jeff Rachor said: “Pep Boys and our 19,000 retail, service, distribution and store support center associates are thrilled to partner with Atlanta Motor Speedway to present the Pep Boys Auto 500.
“Expanding Pep Boys’ long-standing brand into the exciting sports marketing arena is a perfect fit for our Company, as Pep Boys customers are passionate automotive enthusiasts and NASCAR fans. We look forward to providing all racing fans with a fantastic Pep Boys Auto 500 this fall.”
