clay details ???

well i am going to clay my car next time i have an entire day to detail my car, but what is the order of doing everything as far as wash, wax, buff out scratches, clay and w/e else. but last time i washed i tried to wax and i did a little spot on the rear and it was kinda ok, but then i did the hood, and as i did it, it had a bunch of white spots everywhere and was really hard to get off (i used a liquid). did i just not wait long enough for it to cure or whatever? or is that just what happens. lol i have never waxed before... and no i wasnt doing it in the sun. TIA!

ok, thank you! but another question. what all do you use to buff and how do u do it? apply pressure or barely any?

Use microfiber towels, dont over complicate this.
