Hi does anyone have access to a thread on how to replace the master cylinder for the clutch on a 1996 grand am se 5 spd, 2.4 doch, i searched but didnt find much,

It's a 13-step procedure according to Chilton's / Haynes.
You'd do best to ge this manual.
BTW, you know this thing takes brake fluid, right?
If anybody topped-it off with solvent or motor oil or Ps fludi, then that petroleum-based stuff has eaten the rubber seals of the MC, and prolly of the slave.
That's just the way it acts.
If so, you must COMPLETELY flush the system of the contaminant.
