spindles mixed up

ok so on my converded 96 GA i think i put the spindles vice versa could i leave them like that or should i change them right? i had them off for awhile an i guess i got the sides mixed up. the caliper is on the side close to the doors not the front bumper

shouldt they only go on one way? i dont even think you can mix them up, but im not sure
