Alright, I have a 95 grand am se but I really dislike the exterior of it. (The Stock Bumpers) And I really like the bumpers on the newer models. I don't know much about my car yet but would it be possible to put newer bumpers and newer headlights to make my car look like a newer Grand Am?

If any of you know of prices of these kinds of part please tell me, or point me in a direction that can. :)

Thanks,
Dave.

No you cannot, well you could but it would cost an ungodly amount of money and time and in the end look like ass.

You can do a 96-98 Conversion. Should be close to a direct bolt on as far as the body kit. You would need the Hood, headlights and fenders off of a 96-98. Truck and tail lights too if you do a full conversion.

Can get pricey, but not astronomical.

Do you have welding experience or a friend who can weld pretty good? If not, just do the front conversion, you have to weld the rear fenders into place (assuming you need 96-98 rear quarters to get the desired effect).

trade for a new ga. it just easier if you dont want to go through all the work but then that takes the fun out of it.

Some people like challenges, look at Bic. He could've bought a car with a reversed hood, but decided to fit it to a car that wasn't made for it.

To start off I would do the front, then move on to the rear of the car later when I have more money. :( I guess I need to verify if the body parts bolt on correctly or I might be off the road a while. Then I would need to find those parts!

Thanks for the help so far guys!

EDIT
Well bad news, Just found out the the way I wanted to style the car was off the 99' version of the car. I don't think it is possible to interchange their bunpers and lights unless someone can help me out with information. :(

The Grand Am and other N-Body cars were totally redone or dropped. The only Compact N-Body to survive after 1998 was the Grand Am. The Achieva and Skylark were dropped. The Alero became the new Olds N-Body.

The Grand Am of 1999+ is far too different than the 1992-1998 versions to really attempt a body part change. You can do a conversion to a 1996-1998 style body, but forget 1999+

Yeah, all of the bumpers pre-99 are pretty eye-soring to me. Thanks for the history though!

now if you wanted something different you could just buy a body kit for the car there are four different styles of kit for your car and that is by far the best way to make your car look better because the 96-98 grand am bumpers look like crap
