as soon as i figure out a way, i will. i am thinking about going to a yard and taking out part of the door skin (under the line) and using that to fill in the my line. it should be already contoured to that shape

it aint my car, but please dont do a simple color if your gonna do it right, like white, silver, black, etc. nothing wrong with those colors, but i can just see your car now on the show circuit with the custom hood, shaved, and all with a crazy paint scheme or color.

and no problem about the springs, im still gonna prolly get the canucks when i get paid again.

im not sure about a crazy paint job. 1 i think they are better on mini trucks than on tuners. 2 i want to paint it myself. so i want to keep it simple and clean. i am thinking of paintinf a graphic just below the window line going from the front to back, just to break up the paint

But I think a crazy paint job would do the car a severe injustice.. There's much to look at in the CAR, I'd hate to see people distracted by frilly foo foo colors and designs

satin black dude, there is no other way :D

Its relatively easy to do satin black yourself with even a makeshift paintbooth (garage with plastic and ventilation and heat lamps)

You can use the roller method for satin or if you have a really good srapyer - get a wide nozzle and make sure the paint stays a good warm temperature :D

Although if you do satin black the door jambs and engine bay and trunk in silver might look a bit weird. (my friend repainted his paseo black and it was originally green, he was too lazy to do the door jambs and engine and trunk so itlooks a bit goofy XD )

Props to the lowering though, ive been waiting for that since I joined up here XD - can not wait to see the door line gone, that will seal the deal for 'cleanest custom Grand Am ever' :D

no no no im sorry i didnt mean crazy paint as in graphics all over, i meant a nice stand out color, but not too bright like orange or lime green lol. i actually want to do some gray/black ghost flames on the sides pretty soon. im gonna have my friend start some small boichemical style graphics in airbrush on some smaller parts... ill post pics to show you guys what it is.

trust, when its getting painted there will be no traces of silver if i go a different color. all the glass is coming out, doors off, everything. :)
