I was curious, does anyone have any good ideas for do-it-yourself mods or inexpensive little tweaks that could be done to spruce up the GA? I have an '01 SE and I'd like to make her look pretty slick if I can. Thanks guys!

You could paint interior parts, neon/led lighting, stereo, tint the windows, re-wrap your headliner, or anything you can think of :)
or just simply check out our fourm sponsers for ideas

A do it yourself mod is a question you have to ask yourself. There are some people out there that could call an engine rebuild a do it yourself task while others obviously couldn't do that. Otherwise listen to mike's ideas above there pretty good.

I'm not sure how the third brake light is put together on the 99+, but if you're able to easily take the red housing off, you can make an internal third brake light cover and tape it in there. I did that on the G5. Cost about 7 bucks for paper, electrical tape, and an exacto knife.

Take the Grand Am badges off the exterior. Gives you a cleaner look and it's easier to wax
