I just got the front and read speedbuilt STB's. want to install them soon,, Im just wondering though, do i need to torque them down? or just hand tightening ?

hmm....good question. check out the Haynes manuel. i'm assuming you'd have to torque the since everything that bolts on the car you have to torque HAHA or so it seems

Just make sure they are good and tight, just not overly tight.
I think the TQ spec is like 18 pounds or so, which is like just over hand tight.

Yep, IIRC it's 18.. not much at all.

for the rear one. i only have 1 nut on each side,, i need the other 4 (2 more on each side),, can i just use ANY nut that fits? or does it have to be the same as the other one?
thanks.

as long as its the right thread size it'll will work
to be technical, its prolly atleast a grade 5 or 6 nut, but its prolly safe to use any one that works...use a lock washer if your really worried about it

Just so you know its a metric 8mm .8 thread. If you have a fastenal near you you can get a graded nut from them.
