so have struts and springs right? if the drop spring is on the new strut, then take the strut assembly out and put the new one in. its that easy

I had to re-use 1 or 2 basic hardware pieces above the stock mounts, even though I purchased KYB struts, mounts, and boots. I know the 99+ mount may differ, but I would have needed to disassemble my strut assemblies for those pieces even if I wasn't keeping my springs from them.

Crap. Well then wouldnt it be easier to take the whole assembly off and then take it apart to get the boot?

i think you have to take out the stock assembly, take the spring off, remove the boot, the put it on the new one

^Correct.
Regardless, I would consider new boots. I think mine weighed in at a whopping $7 each. Remember that a future torn boot = dirt entry = dirt rubbing on shaft = strut failure.

Well got it done but have a problem now. The passenger rear strut is not tight at all. The nut that holds it to the mount wont tighten or loosen soooo when I get it aligned tomorrow they are going to look at it.
Overall it looks good. I guess Im just too tired to see how good it really looks.

Finished product!!!
It was because the nuts supplied have a thin piece of plastic on the last threads and I didnt remove it before I put it on.

Sure that plastic isn't supposed to be removed? Any nut I have seen with plastic on it, as you say, has been a lock nut. The plastic is suppose to be cut in to by the threads, and prevents the nut from backing off.

It wasnt a lock nut at all. It was a super thin piece.
