Go to carquest and pick up a bottle of Duragloss AquaWax. You can use it when your car is wet or you can wash and dry as normal and then wipe it down with the AW on a dry surface. Its hands down the best spray wax ive ever used.

I use it after i have dried the car.

I'm not sure how this product works... After washing, before you dry your car do you spray this on and then dry?

Pontiacfinder

Yea, you wash your car down with car wash stuff then while the car is still wet you spay this stuff on 2 sprays per panel then dry it.

Pontiacfinder

Well kind of like these

Eagle One
STP
Armor All
Mothers's
Turtle Wax

not so much big names just names that are popular and are proven to work good. Sorry for confusion

Oh, you mean the ones who have the price point and marketing team to get them on WalMart's shelves?

The reason i ask is becuase the leaders in this industry is Automagic, meguiars and Carbrite.

Company's like TW, EO, AA, mothers, meguiars consumer line and STP (and many others) are big contenders only in retail stores and for Joe blow with a minivan. By no means are they better and in most cases subpar to company's like Duragloss, Pooreboys, Optimum, Automagic, meguiars, Carbrite, Menzerna, rightlook, 3M and so on.

Haha I hear ya.. i'm a neatfreak myself whether it be my car.. home.. workplace.. appearance.
And thank you, your car's a beauty also. I'm sure white is much harder to keep clean than red.
I dunno I just never thought about really trying this before.. and at $5.99 for the bottle, I hardly used any of it.. so you'll definately get your moneys worth with this stuff.

If your getting alot of dust your using to much. Any paint protection product should be applied whisper thin.

After you buff off the wax go over the car with a quick detailer and a microfiber towel. That will clean it all up.

I recently picked up some Poorboys Quick Wax + to try out. Gives a nice shine, smells good, application is fairly easy. Durability right now in salty winter seems to be about 2-3 weeks but that is fine for me, it's a good booster for my purposes.

so is this Duragloss Aquawax the only wax you need to use after washing your car?
no paste wax afterwards? like NXT?

I picked up some of this eagle one, like the smell too lol, wash mit and micro dry towel at the same time, pamper the girl lol

I think I can notice a difference in appearance, does seem to be shinnier and seems to last for a while (though I usually like to wash the car every week or two) used it twice so far, I like it, worth the 10bux IMO

i picked this stuff up during the winter and tried it in the beginning of march when it was like 60 out for one day. needless to say i put it thru the ultimate test b/c no less than 5 mins after i got done, it rained for 2 days straight and then snowed after that for about 2 days (giving us 18" of snow)...but it kept the shine all thru that week. Now its about 3 weeks after the first time i used it and after it rains the car still shines better than before i used this stuff. I've noticed a huge improvement in the shine. I love it, think its a great product.

like the smell too lol

lol, yea that was my first impression when i sprayed it the first few times.

I like it, worth the 10bux IMO

couldn't agree more.
