2000 Transmission Replacement Cost

Hello,

My transmisison is slipping from 2-3rd, and now is starting to slip form 1-2nd.

The car has 100k miles, so im considering replacing the transmission. Anyone have any idea what I would expect to pay at a shop for this?

Call around, shops charge anywhere from $1500. to $4000.
You may find a good one in a wreaking yard. In the $400 to $700 range. I did a rebuild on a 700R4 last year and the parts alone where $700. and I got a good deal on them, I did lots of updates, and stronger parts though. A quicky rebuild would be about $150. for parts and more for a TC.
