Painted Door Pillars, Mirrors, and some touchup

You may remember this is the car I bought for $750 this past February. This spring I debadged it, but also noticed a few good sized rust spots developing behind the front tires. So I decided this weekend to clean up and spray paint the rusted areas, and while I was at it, I painted the mirror housings and the door pillars, since the black was peeling pretty bad. I think it came out pretty good, let me know what you think. the first pic is before painting, but it shows pretty good what the rust looked like on both sides. the second is after paint. If anyone was wondering, Rustoleum Sunrise Red is an almost perfect match

I think my next project will be getting rid of the chrome striping. I think i am going to cover it with a carbon fiber overlay, I've worked with that stuff quite a bit and have gotten pretty handy with it

wow that looks like a pretty close match to me. Looks 100x better too. I would stay away from the carbon fiber and leave the chrome IMO :D
