You'd have to find a way to filter the incoming air as well, as the top half of the air box is clean(filtered). Plumbing the scoop to the bottom would work, but the severe bends may negate any gains.

okay
so i should just buy a different scoop?
take it to a body shop
have them fix it up so air will flow from the scoop into my air box?
i think that would be the cheapest way to go.. that hood is almost 600 free shipping..

Man, please make your posts easier to read, cutting your sentences in half and then droping them to the next line makes it hard to read.
The cheapest way to go is to buy a hood thats already made, a body shop would rape you to mold in scoops and paint.

I think the car looks sweet and the c/f flows well.
To all the people that think the hood is non-functional:
Same hood - http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78969
RSM?Z-Spec made the hood in fiberglass and c/f but the c/f cost more.

i think CF hoods look great on black and white cars, but only white if they have other blacked out parts. if i personaly got that hood, i would paint it to match car. i dont care about tho knows its CF, cause it would serve its purpose being very light. plus that scoop wouldnt work for me anyway cause i have a CAI behind the bumper lol.
i personally am a fan of the OEM ram air sct hoods, theyre my favorite. and im pissed i didnt have the cash to buy the one off of blackgt2k :(

i was thinking pipe it to just before it enters the box. im sure it can be done with minimal modification.

Why is this in members rides?
You posted a photo of a hood and asked how it would look on a black GA...
BTW what is the signature all about? Because trust me when I say we have nothing to fear.

Seriously bud, if you haven't figured it out already, you're being closely watched ... why you may ask? ... well, it is due mainly to the way to entered the site with attitude and bad mouthing of another site which happens to share common members with us (not to mention the guy you seem to be mad at is a friend of many here, including the administration I might add) ... anyway, I am just trying to be fair and upfront with you ... honestly, you are more than welcome to be a member here as long as you want and are encouraged to make as many posts as you wish but at the same time, bashing another site or its members WILL NOT be tolerated ... you will quickly find we are somewhat more strict on some styles of conduct than other sites ... now, that said, back on topic and if you have any questions concerning my comments, please feel free to contact me directly!! :)

Trust me son, I assure you there is no one like me. Your attitude so far is far from possitive yet everyone here has been fair to you. No one appreciates negitive members who are just here to troll, stir crap and cause problems.
As stated before whatever you issue with GAGT.com is keep it with them, none of us here give a rats ass.
*edit Sorry Kelly just read your post (I was multitasking, lol).
Back on topic...
As for the hood, I like it. Have always liked it ever since RSM started producing them. To make it functional wouldn't be too difficult. Seal the top of the box around the hood. Cut a hole in the top of the air box and use another panel filter dropped into it.
