You live in a lucky state, you can put 5% on the windows and get away with it, lucky

It matters do you have a 2 door or a 4 door? What do you all want to get tinted?

I live in IL, you can get anything on the back windows and NOTHING on the front (not so lucky if you ask me)

You'll have to tread softly if you're going to get your front windows (presuming you have a 4 door) done.. because they cannot be too dark, or you'll get pulled over quick fast and in a hurry..

I had 35% on the front and 5% on the back on my GA.. The Balt is going to get 20% all around, and we'll see how it goes

my uncle is going to tint mine for me, but he was wondering if you have to cut the rear defroster lines or just leave them and tint over? jw and sorry for jacking the thread partially, only not really haha.

Danger! Danger!

Dude has no clue what he's doing and he will botch the job.

Don't let him near your car.

Anyway, for IL:

No tint whatsoever allowed on the front side windows. You can use any darkness you like on the back side windows and the rear window.

You should tint the side windows 20% and the back window 5% thats what i have on mine and it looks real good. 5% is impossible to see out of at night.
