I was a dumbass and forgot to wipe off the excess Meguiar's High Endurance Tire Gel after detailing my car (I put it on before starting anything else so it has time to set).

I drove to the supermarket and back and noticed the excess tire gel had splattered all over my door panels and inside the wheel wells. I used Meguiar's Quik Detailer to get most of them off, but some of the splatter spots left light brown stains on the paint that won't come off with Quik Detailer.

Do you think Meguiar's Quik Clay will pull it out or will I need to go to their Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner?

Clay bar is my new best friend!! I was scared to rub it on my paint at first, but it works well....I did my '93 F-150 with it (it had been waxed about twice a year since new, but the paint still felt gritty) and, WOW!! The paint feels and looks like glass after I clay-bared and waxed it. It was a my guinea pig, and now I use it on my GA. It does wonders to take out paint stains and grit.

Do you guys usually polish and wax after using the clay bar?

I have always been told that the clay bar strips the old coats of wax as well.
