Ive been trying for about 2 hours to get the caliper off of a 97 saturn sl series. The bolts seem to be stuck no matter which way you try to turn them they wont go. If your facing the front of the wheel like the fender area and you try to turn it to the right it goes no where. If you try to turn it to the left it goes no where.

Any suggestions on any way to get it off ?
Ive broken two sockets trying to get it off.

Thanks
James

Sockets? Being a GM car I would expect you would be working with either a big Allen key or Torx. Normal, not reverse threads, AFAIK.

I got it out finally using a 14mm wrench to counter turn it.... anyways the caliper had like melted itself onto the rotor lol... those fools had no brakes what so ever.

Thanks though John
