I have a problem with the car referenced above. After being unable to get the air to blow from the different vents as the selector switch was moved and searching here I was convinced that there was a vacuum leak. After taking the bezel off and removing the ac switch assembly there is an obvious vacuum leak audible from the vent selector switch It appears that the nipples on the back of the switch are not sealing when inserted into the pliable neoprene piece that the vacuum lines attach to.
Question is, is this repairable, or will the entire switch need to be replaced. If the entire piece must be replaced, how do I reattach the various vacuum lines to the back of it, do they just push in and seal?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
