I've had my GT for about four months now, and before that, I had a 95 Dodge Intrepid. What a beast that car was. People made fun of it, but it was the most reliable car I ever had. Two years without a single problem, and I put over 35K on it while it was in my possesion.

But then on 6/19, I was hit on the highway but an http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_censored.gif in a silver Lexus:

The guy never stopped, and they never did get him.
And the car had just reached 107,000 miles too.

my parents had that car, but with the 3.5 DOHC and it was a beast for a 93, but i dont think that car deserves the MOPAR name, sorry.

also sorry to see what happened to it. at least youre ok.

I think it does, but that's just me. And I think that this Intrepid is worthy of the Mopar name however:

He's on dodgeintrepid.net, probably the most badass looking 1st gen Trep on the site.

I drove a car about like that when my old Beretta was broke down once. The one I drove was a 97, but it was nice. We called it "the Beast", because it was so huge compared to my Beretta.

The Intrepid had a ton of power, and I got it to roast the tires without even really trying. :)

They are fun cars to drive and work on. Did you know what motor the Trep had?

I only had it for two days, but I remember a door badge that said 3.5L. I've got a pic of it somewhere on my computer I think....

I miss my Mopars..

I had an Intrepid and 3 neons.. The neons were nothin but good to me, ditto on the Trep...

The mother in law had a very similar car, same color and all. It was nice until the transmission crapped itself. That was surprising.

i dunno, i dont consider a FWD car a mopar. when i think mopar i think RWD v8.

my parents' car was cool and all...it was the ES, and was way ahead of its time, but it went through 3 trannys and one engine in 4 years. the c pillars started chipping less than a year after they bought it (they bought it new) and the interior got all warped by the second year they had it.

all that being said, i remember racing friends on the freeway with that car and it was fast. it couldnt handle worth a damn, but you cant have everything.

Once had a red Intrepid back in 94, it was the only Dodge I ever loved. I traded it in for a peice of crap BMW.
