I clay barred The Balt over labor day weekend, never did get any pictures of it then, life got in the way a bit..

But, I washed her up again this past weekend, I think I might stick a picture in the running for the Non-GA Calendar, but I'm not sure just yet...

Anyway, here she is... bland and boring.. completely stock.. but atleast she's clean

It looks nice Trish !
I removed the door moulding on my Pursuit about a month ago and it looks way better. They are just glued there.
Tell me if you wanna see a before/after pic.

Nothing better than a nice and clean Delta.

As far as the door moulding, the cars look nicer without it. Mine was not put on from factory, and I like it.

Just imagine it with the balt's front end and look at the doors... nice and smooth.

car is looking good, but I would keep the molding on the doors... its there for looks and protection, chances are any parking lot door dings will be on it... and its cheaper then a paint job :P

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm going to take a few more shots in the coming days at the Cemetary, in hopes to get out from behind these shadows...

As for the moulding, eh.. I'll keep it for now.. Like Dan said, if I'm ever forced to park next to another car I'd rather be safe than sorry, also it's a lease car.. so I'd rather not have any strikes against me, but we'll see what happens

Nic, I had to get rid of the GA unfortunately :( The person who co-signed for me ended up filing bankruptcy, and I was pretty much pigeon holed into a new car, it's ok.. But it's surely not my old GA

I miss it too, Ray :(

I saw it the other day, brought me to tears.. The young dumb punk who's got it is sadly not taking care of it :(

I had to remove my mouldings because they were fadding. They looked light grey on the top. So, the dealer gave me new ones under warranty, but I'll wait until the end of my lease before installing those new ones on my car. The car looks more expensive IMO without them. For the record, (here in Canada at least) only base model Cobalt and G5 have the mouldings, the Cobalt SS, SS/SC and G5 GT don't have them.

:( Sorry to hear Trish, and seeing your GA with someone who doesn't appreciate it is always a downer.. but on the upside, the Balt is a pretty chic looking car, you made a good choice :) I am sure you'll have it modded to fit you in no time.

Eh, like I said.. It can't really be modded, nothing that I can't remove anyway.. I am going to tint the windows, I'd like to do that before Thanksgiving, so maybe... Other than that, I've got bigger fish to fry and I feel like I'm out growing wanting to customize my car...

Or, I'm a bitter ex lover of my GA and I hate seeing someone else driving it.. :slant:
