Here comes my car again. I got real lucky yesterday. Last week, i posted asking what people thought of the GT wheels that are curved 5 spoke. I could get the set with tires for $300. They were the chrome ones. Well yesterday, I must have hesitated about 5 times at the door to go get them when, at the last minute, I decided to go to car-part.com and check one more time to make sure no one had gotten the wheels I wanted. Sure enough, a salvage yard about 45 minutes closer to me had the GT painted straight stars for $250/set with tires(225/50-16). He had just got the car in last night. I'm going back over there tomorrow to check out the rest of the car as I know it is a GT but I never saw it. Here are the pics, one of which I will submit to the calendar. Enjoy. Later, QD.

I love it! The spoiler-less look is hawt on sedans, and the headlights/lowering job are sweet too.
Nice work! :)

looking sweet QD, the painted GT wheels add to the stealth look you got going there, without the spoiler & having the black headlights & painted non-shinny wheels.... yup, lovin it!!

^^^ I don't like 18" wheels and for the money, these wheels look perfect on the car.
Thanks for the compliment. Later, QD.

Had our GA for 7 years and never had the chrometechs peel. Sound slike you went into too many car washes where they use wire brushes on the tires.

Perhaps the previous owner did, but mine was either hand washed or filthy. I'm not the only one who experienced this, is seems pretty wide spread

^^^ One local yard did have the chrome ones, but he told me over the phone that they were peeling pretty bad. Later, QD.
