Ford 6.6L 400

ok, just trying to see if any of you can help me find information on the 6.6L 400 engine out of the early 70s thunderbird i do believe, i found this motor at my grandmothers and i am looking to rebuild it either for maximum horsepower or just to the base, i need help finding the specs of the engine, piston size, stroke, and if there are any places to buy complete engine rebuild kits, i already checked summit racing and looked through their site, also if anyone knows a really good transmission that would hook up to the engine and transfer all the horsepower to ground, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all,

The only thing I can find would be the 400 Cleveland V8 which is a 6.6L in the late 70's tbirds.

As far as specs, I havn't been able to find much on google.


There is a service manual set for the 1979 Thunderbird on ebay : 330167059964 that should cover that particular engine.
