The black plasic that surround the rearview mirrors and inbetween the windows-what do you guys use to make that shine? i've tried a few things with not very good luck..

It also depends on how bad the plastic is weathered, it may be beyond saving. Worth a try though.

yeah trust coupe! plus i tried it on my old 93, it had dull and faded black mirrors and they shined really mnice after a good coating of PB... Id recomend the creamy kind, cuz i used crunchy and i wasted more...:lol:

I personally use a spray sillicon on a rag. Usually works (But then again, I have textured plastic)

You have to be careful with silicone products that close to your paint. If it were to rain the next day or soon after applying it, it would get on your paint and not only stain it, but silicone doesn't come off very easy. Once it is on there, it is usually there for a while.

It's doesn't have to be peanut butter, it's really just the oils in it, iirc. I used Olive Oil on mine, and it worked just as well.. Plus I didn't get random cravings for peanut butter and jelly sammiches when the wind blew the right way and I got a wiff of the peanut butter through the windows :lol:
