View Full Version : What to get for next car?

Plan on getting rid of the GAGT... prolly get around 5.5 or 6 for it. Not looking to spend more then around 11? I was looking at SRT4's, Jettas, GTi's, GSX, etc. Id rather buy something stock turbo and cheap, then dump money into her. What do you guys recommend? Thanks

I have heard on other forums that the SRT-4 is ridiculously difficult to launch and the tourque steer bad, much worse than the GA...FWD does that to you with that much power.

You could get an older (02?) WRX or possibly a Lancer for about that much $$, lots of speed/control & no mods needed :).

Stay away from vw unless you can afford repairs...srt-4 or wrx good luck finding one for 11k that wasnt beat to all hell with high miles...cobalt ss isnt bad for a used daily driver but again mostly kids drive them so good luck finding one that wasnt beat on

Nope... keeping the GAGT for now. I ended up with a 91 Talon TSI for $600. Motor needs rebuilt but thats it. Should keep me busy for a while:D

Ah, cool. Nice find - I wish I had the mechanical aptitude to rebuild the GA's engine... but I don't so now I have the Cougar :lol:

...which it's been a week and a half since I traded it in, and they still haven't come to get the GA... :lol:
