that's what i was thinking...i was hoping there was a way to wire them 2 ohms where i can get 900 out of it but they say 2+2 on the back so i'm guessing that means their a four ohm...i dont know much about wiring and stuff it's just what i was told
there are four terminals on the sub and the inner two are put together with a wire like just a short wiere coming from the inner left to the inner right and the far left and far right ones are open...if comeone can make out anything i just said and help me...i would really appreciate it cause i just confused myself

2+2 means dual 2 ohm voice coils, did you buy the subs used? They already tried hooking them up, not sure if it was parallel or series though.

500 watts will power your subs just fine. i got 2 JL W1's running off 400. believe me, it fine. however, if you want the maximum potential for clarity, go with a high amount of wattage. butt 500 watts will be fine, specially since ur not running high quality subs

so my amp will be running at 2 ohms if it sayes 2x2 on the back...then it'll be 900watts rms

Pretty much. Make sure you follow that diagram completely, don't wanna blow a voice coil or damage the amp.
