HID's, SS-Mirrors and C/F Dash overlays.

Well I've done some new modifications to my truck and I'm happy with them thus far, I've got Pilot 9006 6000K HID's in my lows and they are 2-3X Brighter than my stock hi-beam halogens, I've also gotten ahold of some pre-cut vinyl over lays for my dash, they look like carbon fiber. I've also installed my heated/powered SS-Mirrors and I did the LED conversion in my instrument panel so my gauges light up blue.

Dude I could have gave you all thse overlays for free. I purchased them and they are sitting in my glove box in a envelope. I didn't care for them, especially next to my real carbon fiber dash bezel. What I disliked the most is they block the backlight and the letters dont illuminate.

What dash kit is that? So glad you didnt go with a tacky reverse indiglo crap. IMine light up (or used to) just like that but Imine have white faces. When my interior is tackled they will later be bright red.

Mirrors look good. For years I've been debating what mirrors to get but I think I'm going with the same SS style mirrors. Going to order mine in a week or so, but I'm going to shave/fill the line in them and install some on the mirror side.

Mirros and the gauges look guud, but I'm not a fan of the CF vinyl. Looks too "generic", but it does dress up the dash a little bit.

Curious, are those real SS mirrors or Ebay/AIM ones?

I want new mirros for my truck bad but done want the same SS style everyone else has. It's killing me.

BTW owning a GMC and now that you have HIDs you should go right for the Envoy headlights. :)

John I sent you a PM about those extra vinyl overlays, also I do have the REAL ss mirrors, I paid about 230$ for mine, you could get the M3 style like some have. If you'd like I could get you a shot of what the M3 ones look like on our trucks, I've already thought about the envoy headlights, and if I do it I want NEW ones, not used ones.. I don't want some sun faded b/s.
