Need Expert Advice on custom graphics for HU

I doubt this is possible on my multimedia unit. I have a jesnen flip out multimedia unit installed and I don't like the background graphics that are currently installed on it.

Is it possible to upload some kind of custom background graphics?
I've seen it done before but I don't know if it's possible to do with the Jensen
models.

Check the instruction manual. it should say if its possible and how to do it.

what is the model number of the HU?

If its like my Jensen, the vm9510 you cant.

i dont know about the jensens but with my pioneer headunit you can, you just need the proprietary software (which is free). With my headunit the software is called oel studio, you just use the software, find that images you want to use, tell it if you want it to be a movie or a background pic, burn it to a disc (pioneer uses a proprietary format .lke or something like that, load that disc into your h.u. and it will upload into the headunit. I dont know if yours does it or not but maybe telling you how mine does it will give you an idea of some sort on how it needs to be done.

I don't believe you can on a Jensen. They are cheap for a reason. Something like that I'd only expect to see on something like a more pricey Pioneer unit.

I doubt Jenson included that functionality. The ones that do support custom graphics usually advertise the hell out of it... E.g., JVC's "PICT" logo all over.
