i've been driving my car since last August and within the past 3 months my plastic water outlet has broke 3 times. the first time the factory piece broke (it looked to be corroded) near the gasket where it fits into the engine block. the second time the upper hose attachment broke and this final time the lower hose attachment broke. the car runs just over 200 degrees. maybe with the temperature being so close to the boiling point this piece is breaking? i had a couple ideas...get a cast iron water outlet or a new thermostat to keep the engine cooler...the cast iron idea i think is better and easier.
