Rear speakers cut out HELP

1999 SE my rear speakers cut out every so often they will work. Does anyone know where there is a connection to the rear speakers that I can try re-pluging in? Not sure where to look I know its not the radio because I replaced that and have the same problems.

how old are the speakers? if they are the orginal speakers it might be time to replace them, mine are on the way out, i can't have any bass and can't have the music to loud or it gets worse.

check the connections, that would be my first thought.

you need to pop the trunk stick your head in there, and you can see the two speaker bottoms and connectors..make sure they are still connected...if they are, go with what was said in the 2nd post.

There connected here is the thing when they do come on there great no cracking or anything. Im thinking a main connection up stream being both rears go out at the same time. I checked the radio connections and they seem fine. Im thinking there is another connection somewhere else.
