In about a 1 week span i have had to replace all the sending units in my 99 grand am SE (3400 SFI) and when i pulled out of the garage after fixing the sending units my window regulator broke not 100 feet out of the garage door, my intake gasket went out again (second time in 9000miles), my head gasket is on its way to being blown and all that is do to the previous owners neglect(they bought the car brand new and did not do very many oil changes because when i took off the head there was about 4 inchs of sludge in the engine), i got hit in the fender and it was a hit and run so im uncertain who did it. So i had to make the hard decision to take off my wheels and my system and get rid of it. Im not seeing myself getting another GA but i'll probably come on here with a non grand am. I bid you farewell!!:(

sorry to hear about the bad luck. how long did you have the car for? it seems like youve fixed the car for the next lucky owner, but i do agree that its better to dump a car that has obviously not been well maintained. thats the risk you run when buying a used car.

what kind of car are you looking to get?
