View Full Version : Pontiac G8 by 50 Cent and Unique Autosports!!!!

The 50 Cent G8 is a collaboration with Will Castro's New York-based Unique Autosports, of Unique Whips fame.
Two features stand out.
Under the hood is a 7.0-liter LSX 427 V8 from the GM Performance Parts catalog.
It shares many of its basic components with the Corvette Z06's LS7 engine
and is dyno-tested to more than 500 horsepower.

Equally earth-shaking is the custom 800-watt JBL audio system, which bundles amplifiers, tuner,
speakers and subwoofer.

A few additional touches include low-profile Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires on 22-inch NC Forged chrome deep-dish wheels,
a Borla stainless-steel exhaust system and a Spies Hecker torch-red exterior paint job accented with dark-tinted glass
and taillamps.

The only real hint of excess is found inside, where the black leather seats have been retrimmed
with perforated red-leather inserts and a 50 Cent/Unique Autosports logo embroidered into the headrests.

2 things...
too much of a wheel gap still, needs to be lowered a hair...
and why the hell didnt they smooth and paint the mirrors? they stick out like a thumb.

Needs less 50 cent crap. The large chrome 50 cent badges need to go. The floor mats look like something a 16 year old would buy for his mom's Civic, right down to the carpet color mismatch.

Fugly wheels, ugly badges, and a stripe that looks out of place. Other than that, I'd say it's OK.

ditch the gay ass stripe and 50 cent badges and it'd be right. i can deal with the rims if it were lowered a little more.


a manual would be fun, but that automatic with a stall would be a beast.


i wish the G8 was gonna come with a LS7, last i heard it was an LS2, but they don't make the LS2 anymore....so i guess IF it makes it to production it'll be the LS3

ghey rims and badges and floormats. the stripe i could live with but the would have to paint the car a different color i dont like red cars.

ok well on my previous comment looking back now they only ghey'ed it up rapper style on one thing the rims. at least they didnt chrome the shit out of it.

but seriously slap some normal size rims and tires on it not this i wanna be a gangsta shit so i have to have 24's or some other stupid size.

the only thing you should have to lift is a truck to put tires on.

well then stick some 20's or something thats got little more rubber on it. too much rim and not enough tire looks stupid in my opinion.

Its a common misconception that the G8 is going to have the LS2/LS3 engine. It is actually using a engine created by GM's Holden division. Its the L76 V8, putting out 362HP/391TQ. It is possible that if a GXP version of the G8 would appear, it might have the LSx engine.

i'd rock that g8, i would paint the mirrors and lower it a lil more. I do like the rims though. I hope they do come out with a gxp model. I want a g8 real bad but i'm gonna hold out for lil while til maybe hopefully a gxp will be in the works.

Love the color. The rims gotta go and the mirrors should match the car. This is gonna be a badass car. Get some 5 spoke black/chrmoe lip 18 and im set IMO.

Actually it is a LSx engine, it just has DoD added to it. Its the EXACT same design only with the DoD. Also the reason it doesnt have such high HP numbers is because its tuned for 87 octane fuel. Put in 93 and get it tuned and it should make more then 400 hp.

I think 50 cent loves Pontiac....I seen MTV Cribs a couple of days ago and he showed off his Ferraris and his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am as well as his 08 Pontiaic G6 GXP fully loaded and Im sure it was filmed before he got his G8 lol.

He's actually getting a fat check from Pontiac to promote their vehicles. Watch some of his more recent videos. There are a few new faces that show up.........and I'm talking about video vixens.

They come from the factory with optional 19" wheels, so I don't think 20's would be bad at all.
the armrest on the door should be red leather, not cloth...im pretty sure its not leather anyways by the lack of shine and texture of it
It's called suede, it's a form of soft brushed leather. Real leather comes in all kinds of finished and textures depending on how it was finished, or not finished.
