great pics man. Its so weird that that is an SE. I wish my old se would have looked like that. that car looks amazing. is that a custom paint job? if its not, it must be the good wax job or something. i like #2 and the last one. your car reminds me how bad i want metallic paint back. looks great in the evening. also reminds me how bad i need to clay and wax my car :( great pics man :cool:

p.s were you ever going to tint the windows on it? Paint the calipers? Overlays?

yes its a custom paintjob but its exactly the same as the original metallic redfire. its the clean paint and wax that makes it do what it does. i ordered my rear cross drilled rotors last night and i plan to paint the calipers when i install the rotors and pads. theyr prolly gonna be black or silver, if not both. overlays are soon to come, ive already got the reflective red tape for it i just need to find it. tint is going to come some time in the future. i dont want to tint them right now because ill be moving to ohio in june for college. ohio has sh*tty tint laws. i dont wanna put some on and have to take it back off soon. theres a lot left to happen to her. im gonna be saving up over the winter. like crazy.

all states cept texas, florida, california and the south west states have crap laws against it. i had 5% back and 15% front on my four door se and i got one ticket in 2 years for it. now i have 5% back and 15% front on my 2 door coupe lol. i hate cops. i tell them im protecting my investment. it keeps the heat out and protects my dashboard. keeps it from warping. thats why 5% all around is legal in texas

thanks for the comments everyone. i couldnt agree more Dan. exhaust is one of the next things on my list. AGAIN...it keeps getting put off for other things. maybe ill get it this time.

And the crap about tint, I live in NY, and I got a 20% tint on my GA. Everything under 35% is what they'll label "illeagal", but I've never been bothered by the cops yet.

Oh, r u planning anything extensive for the exhaust? Just a suggestion, have u thought of the Borla system with quad tips, ive seen that system on a few GA's around my place and they really look GREAT!!!

hey thanks for the compliment. yea the exhaust is gonna get a totall overhaul from the engine back. pace setter headers, new cat converter, might remove the resonator, a custom muffler, "Y" pipe and 2 dual outlet tips. my only problem is deciding on a muffler. the borla system is very nice but its made for the v6. it would sound totally different with my ecotec. so im prolly gonna have to go with some sort of fast and furious muffler and thats what im unsure about. i dont want it to sound like shit. so i dunno what setup ill have in the end but i do know it will have the pacesetter header and dual tips on both sides.

:lol::lol::lol: thanks man. i spend TONS of time keeping her clean all the time. as for now my car is an auto, but theres no telling what the future might hold. i just want to wait till i get a chance to evaluate the cops a little after i move. i agree that they prolly wont bother me but instead of allowing a set back in the long run im just gonna put the tint on hold and continue on with other stuff. plans for this winter should include: exhaust system, Hp tunners program, and maybe a few other things i cant think of at the moment. not sure if i wanna go full SC/T. im still thinking about it.
