View Full Version : power windows
I have a 99 ga and the drivers side power window quit working. I took the door apart and found that there was a plastic piece broken. It is the piece that hold the bottom of the window to the track/cable system. GM has to sell me the entire motor, tracks, and cable system just to get this one piece. Any ideas as to where i can get it? Thanks

You require part#s
12335483 and 12335485
Make sure that the regulator is in good shape before installing these parts or it will be a total waste of time.
So i can give those part numbers to a GM dealer and get just the pieces i need? Thanks

Ever since GM screwed me over on replacement parts, I always go to my body repair shop. He orders me replacement parts at dealer cost. I don't know if you have any friends that do body work but I found it easier on my wallet. And yes, part #'s work. But check a local body shop.

You got lucky, a girl that used to work with me had the plastic piece that connects to the glass, break on her CRX, and you have to buy a whole new piece of glass. So I glued the piece and "stitched" it back together with wire. Ghetto as hell but that was well over 4 years ago and last I knew it was still working. :)
