Hello,
I Just wanted to suggest to anyone who may be having hesitation problems on first acceleration from a stop or stalling altogether. If you know you have good plugs and wires and your air filter is good also, it may be the mass air flow sensor. I was told that my catalytic converter was clogged. I replaced it and the problem was still there. I was very frustrated. So I popped the hood and the maf sensor caught my eye. I disconnected it and started the engine and went for a drive. It ran better with it disconnected than connected. I was told it would cost $200.00 just to buy a new one. So I unscrewed just the sensor itself off of the unit and cleaned the two little wires at the end of the sensor (they were filthy) and reinstalled it. It ran like new and still does. If the mass air flow sensor is still good, this may save you a lot of money.
