need a cdplayer

i want a good cd player that will go with the colors of my car. most the lights are already red so im going to paint parts of the interior red and i wanted a cd player that also has red lights or something that will look good with the red. dont want to spend over $200.

eh... good luck on that... Alpine's upper series (like 250 and up) have "Amber" on them... it matches our dashes PERFECTLY! but, i bet you can find a new 7894 on ebay for around 200, especially since their an older series now!

dont hear many people talking about sony so i dont know if its good, but that one has a red display i could change in to make it all match

do u think its worth it or should i just buy an alpine or something cause i heard they have good cd players

Kenwood has a deck that can be changed to match any color display. My Clarion has a little red in the buttons.

eh... i'd stay away from any sony that doesn't have one of those cd drive like trays in them... The one's without that are known to skip HORRIBLY, and just give you nothing but problems... but, the one's with the trays barely ever skip, and are pretty much problem free... it's just that those one's cost 100-200 dollars more... just shows the gap of sony's products i guess :???:
and, i found a bunch of used Alpine 7894's on ebay for 200 buy it now, but all the new ones are from like 250-300... so, i guess it all depends on how much you wanna spend. The 7894 is an amazing deck, plays mp3 discs, cd-rws, has cd text, TONS of tweaking features... plus, i've had it for a year now, and i live on a dirt road, and it has yet to start skipping... so, if you want a realiable cd player that has tons of features, and matches our dash, look into this one :D

or, if you're talking about the actual screen itself, yes... it is blue and white, but the buttons and everything can change to amber... it just fits perfectly! if you wanna see it in action, go to your local Circuit City or Good Guys... they probably won't be carrying the 7894 anymore, but they'll have the 9811, which is the new version of the 7894, and that has amber on it too
Best Buy doesn't carry alpine, so don't go there... maybe even a local install shop might have one around, but ur best bet is a place like CC.
