Ok soo I was looking under the hood of my moms Grand Prix Gt while I was changing the oil on the car, the intake manifold on the Grand Prix looks a lot like the LSX composite manifold.

Would it fit on a grand am? yes i am aware of the injectors and their placement, but would the 3800 intake manifold fit in place of the 3400 upper and lower intake manifolds.

Another Idea is to maybe see about a shop near me making an intake manifold that is a lot like the TPI intake, plenum then the runners go straight into the heads.

Just some food for thought, I wonder if it would be enough gain over ported intake manifolds by replacing both with a single design one.

3500 top end, costs less, flows better. Grand Prix is 3.8L ? 3.8 is 90 degree engine , 3.4 is 60 degree, thus manifolds don't swap.

3500 uim actually flows worse then a 3400 uim stock Vs. Stock. Ported is a different story though. But I have to agree it would be better over all to do a 3500 top swap. 3.8 stuff would never fit without some serious work that in the end would never be worth the little gain you would get.
