Lets just say my 2 12 inch JL's sound like crap bc my trunk rattles. I took out my back seat to clean up under neath and do some other stuff. and left it out for awhile. the subs sound amazing with the seat out. no rattle or nething. however, its ugly when the seat is out.

i was thinking of turning the subs around; then carpet the back to make it look nice

any ideas on this or help for the process?

Try the Greatstuff. If that doesn't work you can try to port your trunk into your cab by placing a port in the rear deck. Right now you have, in essence, and closed system with no way for air to escape. When you come by to do your headlights we can take a look. I have done several systems.

That's how I got mine 2-12's firing into the car from the trunk, all I gotta do is pull the seats down and it sounds great but if I need the back seat for someone I can put them up and still sounds good..

i've done this for my car. No pics but the box points forward, and then there is a thin piece of wood (like uh flexible 1/4" stuff) that is used for a face plate to cover the entire back seat area. That gets screwed into the box, then the speakers go on to hold it all down. This piece of wood is connected to another piece of wood which replaces the rear deck area, and then both pieces of wood are connected together by one big piece of carpet which covers the whole area. Trim goes back in and away you go
