#1 Main bearing knock?

I just recently discovered that GM made the #1 main bearing on the 3.3L oversized, and that there were many of these engines that knocked because of that. Some of them supposedly started knocking when they were bran new. My engine knocks too. It knocks when I first start it, but the knock disappears after the engine warms up. Is there any way to stop the knocking without completely overhauling the engine? If not, could this cause engine failure?:???:

So where did you get that information? And what is considered "oversize"?
The knocking you mention was more related to the "piston slap" issue that some of these engines have.
