Also, I talked to this guy at Tuffy and he told me that since they're a dealer or Magnaflow, he said he could run a y-pipe into 2 seperate magnaflow mufflers. Would that work or just f*** my car up? How would that sound? Good, bad....awful??
Thanks again.

Yea if I had a chance to do it again I would get the flowmaster 80 right off. Plus I have no idea how the guy would fit two magnaflows under there. Its a tight ass space.

You'd be better off trying to get a transverse muffler, it's hard to fit two full size mufflers in the 5th gen.

Agreed.
Sounds like he's just trying to sell you something.

Probably, I always that thought place was just a bunch of hustlers but I just wanted a ballpark estimate and to have them tell me what they could do.

Buy the muffler yourself from summitracing.com and then bring it in to a reputable shop and have them install it.

Thats what i did, except i had it on my old car, sawed it off cause i sold the car (chevy corsica) and had them install it in my ga. i only had made one payment on the ga when i did that and the ppl at the dealership noticed the new sound right off the back. sounds more muscle on v6 that on my old 4cyl.
