I have a 98 GAGT, I want a nice exhaust but I also don't want something EXTREMELY! loud I want a good sounding noise, i'd rather have performance then noise. I also want to know if I should remove my resonator or not?

resonators help noise, just get a borla muffler, if you want performance you have to get headers, exhaust piping alone won't help......

or you could do like i did and cut the muffler off and run the pipe to right in front of your rear frivers tires. in the process you could take the res off too. it is really easy to do, just look under the var and there it starts to turn into an S shape, cut there, get about 12-16 inchs of pipe and if you want an exhaust tip. i did it to mine and it sounds so sweet. wheather your sittting at idle or goiing down the road, and since the pipe is right by you when driving you get to rnjoy the sound too. mostly with window open. but of course i must advise and disclaim any liability to your actions, legal or not to your vehicle. good luck

i must say between the two big exhausts that GA owners use(magnaflow and flowmaster) the flowmaster sounds so much better. IMO deeper sound and better idle sound and when revved up doesnt sound... sorry to say ricey. im just not into that sound
