Bolt it to your back seat, I hook both mine on the back seat then put the sub in front of it so hind them.
Plus it gives you more trunk space.
Back of the seat is where I would recomend as well, I have mine on the back of the 60 portion of the split rear seat, nice and out of the way.

Back Seat x3, and run the wires in the seat so it looks clean and you don't have hanging wires.

Not a fan of the back seat mounting. it is the easiest, and it does save room. and it does look nice when the amp is there, but when you take the amp out to sell the car you have holes in your seat carpet and when you sell your car you hope nobody sees it. the backseat mounting is what I did in my last car and it did look good till i took the amps out. Mind you people aren't going to be looking at it until they fold the seat down. I built an amp rack for my amps this time. although I do have 3 now instead of just 2.

I used the 4 screws that came with my amp and mounted it to the rear seat, and you can't see the holes when you take the screws out. ;)

You can't see the holes for the amp mounting screws, but you would definitely be able to see the 4 holes I drilled for power, ground, RCAs, and speaker wires to go through the seat.

^^ ya the scew holes aren't the big deal, it's the holes for all the cables that stood out.
