Ok i was leaving a friends house last night and i went down a road I never take. Well to slow people down i guess their's a dip in the road that looks like a small ditch. Needless to say when i saw it, it was too late. I bottom out my car so hard that it shut off. I was only do 30mph.
Now when i restarted it on my subs were playing, I turn it up the alpine up to 17 and the incar speakers came back on. And everything worked fine for the rest of the night. Get in the car today and only my subs are playing again. I look over my wiring and everything is good. But I'm gonna recheck it again for the 5th time.
I'm thinking something is jacked in my alpine, so i put my OEM radio back in and the same thing happens. I'm getting any sounds from the OEM radio. Plus the OEM radio is not chiming. You know like when you leave you lights on and stuff.
I'm at a lost here. 2001 Grand Am, No Monsoon, and my car is on the class data 2 wiring system. Also the back 6x9 speakers do the normal "pop" when i turn the radio on.
