One of the nasties with my GrandAM 2000 GT1 is the wheel speed sensors. These have been failing for over 3 years now and make my instrument cluster look like a xmas tree all lit up (service vehicle, traction off, abs off).

It's intermittent too. Ok sometimes, not so good other times. The actual sensor hub is expensive since it contains a bunch of cr*p. I got one replaced once already. I also had some work done on the wiring and on the connectors before. That usually fixed it for 6 months and then problem comes back.

Anyone have any ideas (pictures/instructions) on how to debug these? I'm guessing it's corrosion in the wires and or connector. :???:

Be carefull changing it. Don't know sizes for the socket since I didn't do it myself because I read some horror stories about how easy it is to damage other parts in the axle which will triple the repair cost. (that and I don't have a garage which works against me when it's snowing). :)

36 mm. Good luck, it's really not that bad. One tip you should use. Get a coat hanger and use that to hang up the brake caliper when it is off. You don't want the weight of it to damage the rubber brake hose.
