Audiobahn 12 Problems - blown?

Hey... My girlfriend's brother has a an Audiobahn 12, he's had it for about 8 months or so. It stopped working all of a sudden, and if you push down on it, you can barely hear some noise coming out of it. I've never blown a sub, not sure what the symptoms are of a blown sub. Do you think it's blown or are the wires on the back of the sub cone bad?

those subs tend to blow often.
