now for outside it will be even tuffer to find a cove that covers more of the car and is WATERPROOF not justwater resistant. so far the one waterproof cover i found on ebay covers4cars , , turns out buyers say it is not waterproof. and the XL suv 200"L x 76W x 61H., likely will cover more of my car instead of leave 6 inches of the sides open to weather...200"L x 76W x 61H.

You don't want a waterproof cover.
You will get condensation on the inside of the cover that will not evaporate.

It may "breathe" but that doesn't really help you.
You see, waterproof/breathable fabrics have *incredibly* little breathability compared to nonwaterproof fabrics. They only really work at all when you have a "driving force" in order to "push" water vapor out. On a jacket, for instance, the driving force is your body heat. When you put a wp/b fabric on an inanimate object, there is no driving force. The condensation *will* stay on the inside for a very long time until you have a very sunny, dry day so that the vehicle under the tarp can get warmer than ambient temperature and drive the vapor out.
This isn't something you want. Water simply isn't that big of a deal when it comes to cars. Covers also tend to rub on and stick to the finish and damage things. Soft fabric covers are nice to keep dust and leaves off. My advice is just to give a good coat of wax and forget about it.
